Save the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program (0 ask(s))
Wisconsin's flagship land-conservation program (the Warren Knowles–Gaylord Nelson Stewardship Program) funds public land, parks, trails, and habitat. Its bonding authority has been allowed to lapse/shrink, and the Legislature's Joint Finance Committee has used anonymous 'pocket veto' holds to block individual conservation purchases. The ask: fully reauthorize and fund Knowles-Nelson and end the anonymous JFC holds.
